I’ve been to enough Merediths and taken enough rides on the 96 to know what a Melbourne boy looks like. A north-of-the-CBD type. And Splendidid is made up of 5 of these ‘Fitzroy to Brunswick or maybe Northcote’ branded guys. Key qualities: long hair, humorous, 35mm photos, vaporwave. Now that we have established that this quintet is from Melbourne, and possibly/probably/definitely from Melbourne’s north, it’s time to address the video that they created in Melbourne’s West – at, on and around the Westgate Bridge. The 5 employ a variety of classic boyband moves such as matching outfits, synchronised dancing, rockhard(?) abs, and of course dancing next to a sculpture that almost definitely resembles a vagina.

That being said, the song is actually pretty ace and I would 10/10 play it while driving over the Westgate (but I never go over the Westgate sorry not sorry).
